We work with businesses to define their marketing assets, develop them and then leverage those assets into a marketing vision and strategy that drives growth and revenue. But they aren’t ready to make a long term commitment. We love working with start up companies but know that often times there is no marketing budget to support key marketing activities. We understand the importance of marketing, especially in respect to taking a start up to the next level. Over the years, we’ve invested in several companies that we feel have the potential to grow. We’ve never advertised this formally. The companies we’ve invested in have all been introductions through current relationships.
We are now launching a formal division. Rather than being a financial investor, we are a marketing investor. We take on a select group of companies in exchange for providing certain marketing services to grow your business. In exchange, we receive deferred compensation and equity in the company.
A lot of capital that is raised during the start up process is used to fund marketing services. Our division allows you to skip a step and work with a company that can help you create your toolbox to effectively marketing your company.
What we look for?
- A company with a highly differentiated product or service
- A large, growing market – preferably global
- A GREAT Team
- A Vision and a Plan – we don’t need some boring business plan but we do need to understand why your company exists, what your vision for the company is and how you plan to get there. We also need to see some projections. Nothing crazy but a good snapshot of your projected revenue and expenses.
